park bench
— branding
I’m a brainchild creative based in the Bay Area, originally from Philadelphia, PA.
By brainchild creative, I mean I’m a designer, illustrator, animator, art director and fine artist.
I’m part of the Trekell Supply Company Artist Pro Team. My work has been featured in galleries nationwide, and has received recognition internationally.
Previously, I was the Creative Designer for the Wavely App and led the design team at Seven20.
the story
Park Bench was founded on the pure love of dogs and the hope to give all pooches a social, healthy, and thriving lifestyle. They believe that by providing exceptional daycare, grooming, and training they can transform the lives of our community’s K9s and their two legged friends.
We needed to re-imagine the Park Bench doggy day care to stand out among the other day cares in the area.
phase 1 - sketching and exploring
In order to make the brand inviting, I made the logo and illustrations by hand, to give the appearance of relaxation and comfort.
Nathan had asked me to keep his late dog, Angus, in the logo because he was the inspiration for Park Bench.
phase 2 - rendering and refining
By giving Park Bench the tagline of ‘dog club’ helped elevate it from a standard day care into a high-society membership. It gives dog owners the feeling of urgency to join and not miss out. Everyone wants to feel like they belong.
